
Following its 2021 acquisition and under new editor-in-chief Nikki Ogunnaike, Marie Claire reimagined its flagship Power Trip summit as Power Play—a nationwide platform designed to build hyper-local communities of influential women.
In March 2024, the event came to life at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel, gathering 100 L.A.-based entrepreneurs and leaders for two days of panels, thought-leadership sessions, sponsor activations, and surprise-and-delight experiences. Presented by Merrell, the summit featured high-profile speakers including Courteney Cox, Sophia Bush, and Tina Knowles.
As Art Director and Lead Designer, I partnered with the Executive Producer at CRONY to concept and deliver the brand experience within a one-month turnaround. I conceptualized and produced 100+ unique assets, including sub-branding systems for individual activations with supporting partners, while also contributing strategic input to strengthen the event identity.
