grace ktown @ no nazar la

As a Southern California native and proud Korean American, I’ve been immersed in LA’s vibrant music and creative scene since 2011. Inspired by the city and my community, my live shows and mixes are a genre-fluid experience that celebrates diversity, inspired by travel. 🇵🇭🇹🇼🇰🇷

I aim to bring people closer together through dancing and singing, as well as inspiring others to approach music with curiosity and discovery. My favorite genres to play as of late include Hip-Hop, R&B, Future Beats, Funk, Soul, Afrobeats, House, Baile Funk, Reggaeton, K-Pop, and Drum & Bass (just to name a few!)

I am open to collaborate through DJ mixes, festival sets, experiences, community parties, and brand activations. See Rent Money and my audio visual mixes below to see the intersection of my Design and DJ practice.

Feel free to email me ︎ for any inquiries and for my EPK.

Audio Visual Mixes

My current body of work is a series of intentional audio-visual mixes that fuse music, design, and culture into purposeful, community experiences. The result connect communities, inspire audiences, and create seamless, genuine collaborations opportunities for brands and creatives.
If you’re interested in being a collaborator for the next one, let’s make magic happen ︎.

Iteration 3

Passenger Princess

An Audio-Visual Mix + Global & Local Watch Party

A one-of-a-kind Los Angeles experience blending car culture, fashion, and global club music. To celebrate the premiere of Passenger Princess, an hour-long audio-visual mix filmed live at a drift track with drone cinematography by @BonkerzFPV ︎ , I created an immersive watch party and collaborated with brands and creatives in Los Angeles.

In collaboration with Tower28, Mayumi Goods, and Slow Jamz Gallery, we hosted a drift car meetup, produced a limited-edition garment collab & Test Drive live shopping experience with Hoodwnk & D1 Studios, live DJ sets including UK Grime headliner, Stooki Sound, a Han/Suki lookalike contest hosted by Joon Lee Comedy, and a Y2K x Tokyo Drift-inspired afterparty. With the help of Inclusive Action, we invited 3 local food vendors to support their businesses. The Experience brought together communities across music, fashion, and car culture, showing how intentional storytelling can connect authentic audiences, collaborators, creatives, and brands.

Iteration 2

Fresh Set

An ode to that feeling when you get a fresh set of nails. Inspired by my love of manicures and appreciation for Vietnamese-owned nail salons.

To supplement the visual release, I hosted a release party (and celebrated my birthday) for the visuals at Slow Jamz Gallery in Los Angeles.

Iteration 1

Laundry Day

A live set filmed in a laundromat, and celebrating a space that I grew up in. This was an extension of a series I did during the pandemic.
